Review: Medicine Melodies Songs the Healers Hear Silvia Nakkach Christopher Eickmann

The beautiful melodies, vocals and acoustic textures of Medicine Melodies flood my senses with inspiration and delight.

This album has so many beautiful, soulful and angelic tracks that would be the perfect addition to the soundtrack of a feauture film - movie music as I like to say.

Shamanic and multi-cultural influences are woven together with the sacred voice of Silvia in the spotlight. This deeply healing, world music score is graceful, spiritual and heart touching.

Silvia has a voice the voice of an angel ... healing, elegant, soul-soothing and heart opening. Her heart pours with emotion, yet she sings with control, strength, poise and inner balance. Joined by composer and multi-instrumentalist Christopher Eickmann, Silvia draws on Indian ragas, Sufi zhikrs, Tibetan chant, and indigenous shamanic songs from Africa and the Americas.

Silvia Nakkach,M.A.,M.M.T. Is an award-winning composer, a former music psychotherapist, educator, singer, author, multi-instrumentalist and voice-culturist. She has been a pioneer in the field of sound and transformation of consciousness and is a recognized authority on the healing power of voice, music and sound. She is the founding director of The Vox Mundi School, an international project devoted to teaching and preserving indigenous musical traditions and combining service, spiritual practice and music.

Medicine Melodies is a  multi-layered tapestry of drones, vocal harmonies, strings, and acoustic landscapes.  This is one album that you will want to listen to again and again.  To get a taste, please visit Sounds True.
