Children's Book Review: Beautiful Girl:Celebrating the Wonders of Your Body by Dr. Christiane Northrup, Kristina Tracy

Beautiful Girl:Celebrating the Wonders of Your Body by Dr. Christiane Northrup, Kristina Tracy

If you have a little girl, know someone who does, or recognize the little girl within yourself this book is for you ... truly remarkable in its simplicity.

Beautiful Girl, by Christiane Northrup, M.D., is a wonderful picture book for a girl of any age. The illustrations of Aurelie Blanz are colorful and delightful.  When read it is as though a treasure that is often buried in the hearts of all females is discovered, rediscovered or simply given more much deserved attention.

Enchanting, beautiful and full of positve messages for all the little girls in the world, Beautiful Girl enlightens the reader to the magic of being a girl and all the powers and blessings that come along with it.  Beautiful Girl gives the child a way to tap into her inner goddess at an early age, enriching her life thereafter.

T
he ideas presented in this children's  book appear simple, although the results can change a child's life in a big way ...
little girls will learn how their bodies are perfect just the way they are, the importance of treating themselves with gentle care, and how changes are just a part of growing up.

Dr. Christiane Northrup is a visionary pioneer and the world’s leading authority in the field of women’s health and wellness.  She is well known for her education and support of women facing life changes and has authored several books on the subject.  This is her first children's book and hopefully not the only one.  I love it and I know that you will too!
