Book Review: Midwest Foraging, By Lisa M. Rose

If you are a forager like me and live in the Midwest, or plan to visit, Lisa M. Rose has created an amazing and informative guide to the valuable plants and trees of the area.  As a naturalist and weed lover I am always looking for a great source of information to learn and grow my understanding of the natural world.  Most people are not aware of the dining potential right in their backyard.

Herbalist, forager, and urban farmer Lisa M. Rose guides the reader with delightful and easy-to-understand riches of the wild Midwest.  From wetlands, to woodlands to right outside the backdoor, there is so much much to learn and explore with the guidance of such a well-written and informative resource and reference guide to foraging year round.

I love it!
