as ever. You needn't sacrifice your captivating allure. You can and
should feel and look at your best for the duration of the entire
camping trip. It is possible to stay clean and beautiful while
roasting and toasting over the campfire. Whether it is your first time
camping or you have grown up in back-country keeping yourself at your
best becomes a challenge when many of the amenities that you have
become accustom to are unavailable. Luckily there are many products and
habits that can keep you clean, polished and a delight to the senses.

- Beauty toolbox or beauty bag
- Skin care wipes for face (These are generally more expensive than the body wipes.)
- Skin care wipes for body
- Tweezers
- Towels & washcloths (A set for each day you will be camping.)
- Biodegradable shampoo
- Biodegradable soap
- Dry shampoo
- Hand sanitizer
- Mirror with light
- Tissues
- Toilet seat covers
- Tampons
- Portable solar shower (This is a great investment.)
- Toilet paper
- Q-tips
- Mouth rinse
- Deodorant (You might want a water proof deodorant.)
- Breath spray
- Water (for washing face, etc.)
- Face spritzer (Purchase a spritzer or make your own. Water mixed with a few drops of coconut or peppermint oil in a spray bottle is quick and works very well.)
- Eye drops
- Insect repellent
- Make-up (Keeping make-up to a minimal is strongly suggested. Less is more, especially while camping. You want to look as natural as possible.)
- Lip gloss
- Sunblock
- Moisturizer with SPF (Tinted moisturizer works great while camping.)
- Eye cream
- Waterproof eyeliner
- Waterproof mascara
- Tea tree oil (For bites, blemishes and basic first aid.)
- Hair bands
- Brush or comb
- Toothpaste
- Tooth brush
- Nail file/ Nail clippers
- Sunglasses (Bring a back-up pair just-in case.)
- Light Scent (You want to be careful with heavy scents because they attract bees and bugs.)
- First aid kit w/Ibuprofen, Imodium AD, band-aids for blisters, allergy medications, etc.
- Blanket to sit on
- Bobby pins (Put hair in bobby pins at night while you sleep. In the morning you will have beautiful, wavy hair.)
- Safety pins
- Suntan oil (Be careful in the sun. A little is very healthy. Too much can hurt you.)
- Hairspray, mouse or gel
- Salt Water in Spray bottle (for wavy, beach hair) Mix water with a little bit of salt into an empty, clean spray bottle. Spray in dry hair and scrunch with hands. No hairspray is necessary. The saltwater holds the look in place.)
Clothing checklist:
- Boots (for the mud, long hikes, etc.)
- Spare socks & underwear
- Hat(s) for the sun
- Long pants
- Short pants
- Warm clothing
- Nighttime clothing for both evenings and sleeping
- Dress Scarves to put over hair (These come in a variety of colors and designs.)
- Rain gear
- Bikini
- Sandals
- Beach bag
- Beach towel
- Extra shoes (at least 2 pairs)
