Mrs. Murphy's Marvelous Mansion

This is an important book with an important message ... Don't judge anything superficially, by its exterior ... or as the old adage goes - Don't judge a book by it's cover.  Well, whether you like the cover of this book or not, I am certain that you will love what is inside.

In this fun tale, Mrs. Murphy’s neighbors are not so excited about her unique and different house one bit, quickly passing judgment on her and her tiny home.  It ruins the perfection of the cookie cutter homes in the neighborhood and they want the mansion gone and Mrs. Murphy with it. It only takes one visit to the inside of her home to change the way they see things.  A delightful and colorful tale that speaks of diversity and individuality.  Mrs. Murphy’s neighbors quickly learn that inner beauty matters much more than external beauty.

My favorite part of the book is when they are touring the mansion.  It gave me some really good ideas for my own home ...

This award winning book highlights the folly of stereotyping based on outward appearances. Brilliantly expressed and beautifully designed, Mrs. Murphy’s Marvelous Mansion is a great way to teach about uniqueness and why it is so special.

5 Stars!!!
