I had the opportunity to try two perfumes from the House - Blackbird and Forbidden.
Blackbird is mysterious, dark and romantic. It reminds me of running through the woods in the summertime, barefoot and mindful ... fully present and delightfully taking in the sensual experience.
A deep green, nearly black perfume elixir, Blackbird has an immediate transformative effect on me. It takes me to a place I'd been yearning for ... a deeper, darker, more earthy realm, a place where the guardians of the mysteries of the earth dwell, beckoning me to be a student of the wise woman ways.
Blackbird has subtle notes of the muddy earth within a potion of evergreen, patchouli, cannibus, leather and many other aromatics ... with a hint of the sensuous seductive qualities of the potion soaked in lace before bottled ... dare I wear such a powerful scent out ... I dare! Blackbird reminds me of music festivals, of dirt and sweat and wild rock and roll, filthy debauchery ... though pure and clean in essence - wild and free!
